new years' resolutions:

stay out of the rain, both literally and figuratively. buy more posters of artists that i pretend to know all about but really just saw on allposters. stop eating as much fish, be a better vegetarian. write in my diary more than once every two months. same with livejournal. and stop only writing at low points. learn basic math. lose 5 - 20 pounds, depending on how good chinese food sounds throughout the course of the year. start talking to my mother again. drink at least two of the eight recommended glasses of water a day. stop taking the elevator to every damn class. stop caring so much about what he does at night. start caring more about the way sunlight pours into my room in the morning. stop listening to hours of slam poetry every night and start writing my own again. get into college. get into college. for the love of god, get into college.
